So, with Christmas slowly approaching, I find myself reflecting on past childhood Christmases. And growing up as a middle child in a single parent household with an immigrant mother; you get a good sense of reality first hand (hmp,I’ve been reading statements and writing personal checks since elementary) In my house there was no fantasy; no imaginary friends, no monsters under beds, no bed time stories and definitely no Santa. We knew that mommy worked really hard and bought presents and place them clearly under the Christmas tree but thanks to school and TV; shows like “Full House and “Family Matters” (thanks Olsen twins and Jaleel White) they provided a creative mental escape. I remember after watching holidays shows, I would create an imaginary Christmas list hoping Santa would make it all come true. And now here I am 20 something still creating imaginary Xmas lists, check it out: (clock wise): Hermes carre cube silk twill scarf , this Gucci bamboo cuff with sunflower crystals, Make up Lesson with Pat McGrath, if you don’t know she is the Make Up God of all the runway shows (priceless) A Celine baylee bag, these Sophia Webster Mila cage shoe, LOVE! My signature Viktor & Rolf Flower Bomb fragrance (I still love the look of this bottle but the 2013 holiday bottle is just as nice) This Oyster 26mm yellow gold lady date just Rolex with a champagne dial with roman numerals in 18ct gold large VI set with 11 rubies (hey it’s Santa people, why not!) This Pierre Hardy snakeskin backpack, this kick ass Stella McCartney Jacquard Jacket and a red Chanel Sporran flask because drink prices on South Beach are ridiculous. There it is in a nut shell, what’s on your Christmas wish list?
